Think of me like a babysitter(Ok ok…don't run off and hit the next flight or anything). I'm here to break the ice. I understand it's not the easiest thing in the world to be all smiles and act like you aren't nervous. I feel ya. I actually run when I have to be in front of the camera. It's scary stuff! Sometimes all it takes is a little interaction, a silly game, or some questions geared toward your children to get them warmed up. All they want to do is play, and so do I! So that's what we do. We'll play at first! It's ok if we get tears. This is life. It's not perfect, but I want to photograph you in YOUR element. Everyone's story is different, every child is different. There's such beauty in a family's story…and each story is unique. I may ask you to race with your child, or roll in the grass, or walk straight into the sun just to get that amazing lens flare. Heck, I'll be rolling in the grass with you. I'm also not afraid to climb things to get the perfect shot if it calls for it. I'll pay attention to lighting, and work with every angle to capture little details. I love candid, raw, and emotional photographs. I might ask you to lean in and whisper something into your child's ear…or I might send over some tickle bugs. My favorite?
